Let your tears come. Let them water your soul...
Hello readers,
I am sorry for the lack of updates, but to be honest I didn’t have any inspiration.
For this bloging I’m going to talk about that sad emotion that we express by crying…
“Let your tears come. Let them water your soul.” ~Eileen Mayhew
Life doesn’t always go the way we had hoped. Sometimes it even betrays us… we often think that our life isn’t worth living…
Cry… that sad emotion which most cultures consider it to be undignified and infantile, casting aspersions on those who cry publicly, except if it is due to the death of a close friend or relative. In most cultures, it is more socially acceptable for women to cry than men. In my opinion there is no difference if it is a woman that cries or if it a man. We are human!
Crying is an emotional reaction that is considered by many to be a uniquely human phenomenon, possibly due to humans' advanced self-awareness.
Some studies suggest that elephants and gorillas may cry as well.
According to a hadith, the prophet Muhammad proclaimed: "This (tears) is an expression of the tenderness and compassion, which the Lord hath put into the hearts of His servants. The Lord doth not have compassion on and commiserate with His servants, except such as are tender and full of feeling."
Don’t be afraid of expressing your feelings… we are still human after all…
