Seeing isn't always Believing

As we go through live we mostly see what we want and accept what our mind wants to accept.

“The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend.”

We live our lives and don’t bother with our surroundings. But if you look with more consideration, you can find out that seeing isn’t always believing… for example: Illusions.

Illusions
An illusion is a misrepresentation of a sensory perception, revealing how the brain normally organizes and interprets sensory stimulation. While illusions distort reality, they are generally shared by most people. Illusions may occur with more of the human senses than vision, but visual illusions, optical illusions, are the most well known and understood.

As we all know, Illusion is the autonym of Reality. The Human race fears what he does not understand yet some fear the true reality… to avoid the pain, we trick our mind into believing in something far more different from what in reality we see, living this world blind, living a world of dream… and is this dream really a vision of happiness?

Our surroundings can fool us… but is the fooled really fooled? We all have secrets – but that is another story.

I like it, but it's probably partly why people discriminate against what they don't understand :(
